We are kicking off the new season with a full lawn and a great variety of vendors this week! Look for your favorite long-time vendors, along with several new friends with amazing local products!

We will also have sweet & savory BAKED GOODS, CBD products, CANNED GOODS, fresh CUT FLOWERS, herbal TEAS & TINCTURES, BATH & BODY products, NATIVE PLANTS, garden TRANSPLANTS, handmade SILVER JEWELRY, and MORE!

We are super-pleased to be welcoming several new vendors for the 2022 season! Attending this week for our opening day are Cure Nursery with native perennial and flowering plants, Lionhearts Homestead with plant starts, body products, and handmade cards, Baked By D with homemade desserts (many gluten-free!), and Silver Prophesy Jewelry with handcrafted sterling silver jewelry! Please stop by and help us welcome them to the market on Saturday!


Chatham County Habitat for Humanity will be at the market this week, so it is a great time to connect with them!

Pat Stucke will be performing on her accordion! Stop by for a listen while you shop!

Plant Sale – April 9th, 8am to 12pm

It is time for Spring planting! Come out on April 9th, 16th, and 23rd and find locally-grown garden transplants for spring and summer, native perennials and flowering plants, pollinator attractors, and more!


VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Baked By D will be at market for the first time as a new vendor! They will have GF banana chocolate chip muffins (sweetened with date sugar), peanut butter stuffed chocolate dates, slices of GF carrot cake, GF brownies, slices of cheesecake, and coffee cake. 

CATHIS Farm will be there with grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pasture-raised pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs that are supplemented with locally grown and milled organic and non-gmo feed. Beef cuts include ground beef, stew beef and bones. Pork cuts in stock are chops, maple links, apple cinnamon sausage, chorizo, mild country with extra sage patties, bratwurst, smoked kielbasa, smoked chorizo, and smoked garlic bratwurst plus many more. Whole chickens raised on pasture and moved daily. Ground turkey and turkey wings and new dehydrated turkey pet chews. Grass-fed lamb includes chops, ground, shanks and many more cuts. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year at the market!

Cool Springs Farm will be at the market with Buttercrunch and Black Simpson lettuce. We will have spring onions, green garlic, small sweet potatoes, and a limited amount of asparagus. We have plants for spring gardens: lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, chives, basil, parsley, Sun gold cherry tomatoes, plus Cherokee purple, German Johnson,  Brandywine, Better Boy tomatoes, and more.  STOP by and say hello and have a look!

Edge of the World Farm will be at market with herbal tinctures, elixirs, dried herb tea blends, creams and salves, and hopefully a few herb seed packets!

Green Heal Farm will be at market with fresh, seasonal vegetables.

Lionhearts Homestead will be at market for the first time as a new vendor! They will have herb & plant starters (oregano, mint, comfrey, Lambs Ear, and Goldfish plant), cards, sugar scrubs, coffee scrubs, body butters, and hopefully some flowers that weathered the recent cold snap.

Twelve Oaks Farm will be there with pickled beets, salsa, pickled carrots, and hot sauce. You can pre-order for convenient pick-up at the market at https://www.twelveoaksmarketplace.com/

Rocky River Hemp NC will be at market with CBD products, including 1200 mg CBD oil, high strength CBD salve, bath bombs, and dog treats. Customers will get a free Rocky River Hemp T-shirt with purchase of two bottles of 1200 mg CBD Oil or two jars of High Strength Salve.

The Yeast Roll Company will be there with fresh-baked yeast rolls. They will have regular, garlic herb, and cinnamon.

Cure Nursery will be at market with native plants! They will have Packera aurea (Golden Ragwort), Polemonium reptans (Jacob’s Ladder), Coreopsis auriculata ‘Nana’ (Coreopsis), Iris cristata (Dwarf Crested Iris), Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii (Deam’s Black-eyed Susan), Mertensia virginiana (Virginia Bluebells), Pycnanthemum muticum (Short-toothed Mountain Mint), and Heuchera americana (Coralbells).

Deep River Flower Farm (formerly Turtle Rock Gardens)  will be there with  beautiful bouquets featuring tulips! We grow  specialty varieties that are fringe, double, and parrot that have a subtle scent and are SO beautiful. They also often last in over a week in the vase. We’ll also have yarrow and bee balm plants for your garden. Stop by and say hello to Fiddle and Oats!

Evans Corn Hole Boards will be at the market with custom-made corn hole boards. They have a variety of fun designs available, or can make a set of customer-concept boards to order.

Silver Prophecy Jewelry will be at market as a new vendor! They will be bringing their handmade sterling silver jewelry.

Symphl Creations will be there with handmade soaps, bath bombs, skin balms, and other body products. They will also have home-sewn fabric bags, face masks, and other fabric crafts.
