Fresh Produce!

For those doing their regular produce shopping, this week you will find SWEET POTATOES, CABBAGE, WINTER SQUASH, TURNIPS, SPINACH, and MORE! There will also be forest-raised PORK, pasture-raised CHICKEN & EGGS, fresh and dried HOLIDAY WREATHS and ORNAMENTS, natural SOAP & BODY PRODUCTS, handmade WOOD, LEATHER, and METAL WORK, unique JEWELRY, and MORE!

We are accepting Vendor Applications for 2025!

We will consider vendors in all categories, including vegetables, fruit, meat and poultry, eggs, milk, cheese and other dairy, cut flowers, jams and other preserves, honey, baked goods, prepared foods, body and wellness products or services, and handmade crafts. Vendors must be the producer of all items sold and must be growing or making their products within 100 miles of Pittsboro. VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Bumblebee Meadows will be at the market with a very limited amount of fresh flower bouquets. The fresh flower season will come to a close this week folks, so shop early to make sure you get your cottage style autumnal bouquet! I will also have pumpkin centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table available. We will start to transition to dried wreaths, bouquets and Christmas items in the next couple of weeks. If you would like to place an order for gifting please stop by. We greatly appreciate your support of our farm.

Edge of the World Farm will be there with our herbal extracts, elixirs, creams, salves, body and room sprays, dried herbs and herbal teas including lemongrass great for gifts.

Four Dog Farm will have sweet potatoes, cabbage, spinach, salad turnips, and possibly Seminole squash.

THISTLE DRAW FARM will be there with pastured pork, chicken, and eggs. PASTURED PORK: GLUTEN-FREE SAUSAGES: Bratwurst, Mild Italian Sausage, Hot Italian Sausage, Breakfast Sausage, Chorizo, Smoked Jalapeno Cheddar, Smoked Maple, and more! CUTS:  Bone-In Boston Butt Roast, Bone-In Loin Chops, Spare Ribs, Meaty Neck Bones, Salted Fat-Back, Tongue, Liver, and Creamy White Leaf Fat. BACON:  Smoked, Uncured Bacon Is Back!  Also, Cured Hickory Smoked and Maple Smoked Belly Bacon and Smoked Jowl Bacon. PASTURED CHICKEN: Also on the menu this week is our pasture raised, air chilled chicken Whole Roasters, Leg Quarters, Boneless Skinless Breasts, Tenders, Thighs, Wings, Drumsticks, and our ever-popular Chicken Frames for soups and nutritious bone broth. Blue Tin Roof Pots will be visiting the market for the event with handmade pottery, including functional mugs and decorative pinky pots

Cumberland Road Woodturning will be there with wooden bowls and other items turned from wood sourced from fallen, diseased, felled-for-safety or other reasons, or invasive trees like Bradford Pear.  All bowls are finished with food-safe walnut oil and beeswax or salad bowl finish.

Lionhearts Homestead will be at market with small batches of handcrafted body butters, sugar scrubs, lip balms, healing salves, and room sprays. We will also be bringing ornaments created with flowers and wood that were harvested and dried over the summer and fall. 

Lou Horton Sculpture will be visiting for the event with copper cuffs and bracelets and up-cycled jewelry using vintage plates.

Ric’s Leather and Engraving will be visiting for the event with handmade leather items and limited jewelry items.

Sand Dollar Soapery will be at the market with an assortment of their handmade, small batch, chemical and preservative free soaps, scrubs, and masks.

Scott Perry will be joining us for the event with a variety of wood work, including child’s Adirondack style chair and rocker, child’s tool box, cedar bluebird houses, and purple Martin bird houses.

Wood Art Studios will be joining us for the event with handmade wooden items, fine furniture, and cabinetry
