Get ready for the holidays! We’ll have local makers, crafters, and artisans visiting the market, plus our farmer’s market full of fresh seasonal produce, eggs, meat, and much more! For those doing their regular weekly produce shopping, this week you will find OYSTER MUSHROOMS, SWEET POTATOES, CARROTS, HEAD LETTUCE, CELTUCE, GARLIC, and MORE!

You will also find grass-fed BEEF, pastured PORK, CHICKEN, & EGGS, fresh-baked YEAST ROLLS & DESSERTS, HERBAL WELLNESS, goats’ milk SOAP and BODY CARE, PERENNIAL PLANTS, handmade WOODCRAFT, JEWELRY, LEATHER, KNITTED, & FABRIC GOODS, and MORE!

VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Bumblebee Meadows will be at the market with our giant amaryllis bulbs, dried wreaths, Christmas ornaments made from dried flowers and items gathered from the farm and eggs. Some of the amaryllis are blooming or on the edge of blooming and make a great hostess gift or a treat for yourself! They remind us in the dreary days of winter that Spring is coming!

Deerhoof Gardens will be at the market with fresh Italian oyster mushrooms, along with perennial and winter-annual culinary, medicinal and ornamental herbs and native plants, including chamomile, cilantro, cabbage, lemon balm, mountain mint and more!

Edge of the World Farm will be there with our herbal creams, salves, elixirs, extracts, and a variety of dried herbs and herbal tea blends. They all make great stocking stuffers!

Four Dog Farm will have sweet potatoes, garlic, beets, celtuce (Chinese stem lettuce), and possibly head lettuce.

Mary Mel Family Farm will be at market with ground beef, pork shoulder, pork, chops, bacon, and sausage.

Thistle Draw Farm will have Pasture-Raised Air Chilled Chicken! Whole Chicken, Boneless Skinless Breast, Tenders, Leg Quarters, Thighs, Drumsticks, Wings, and Livers. Everything’s better with broth!  Get your $3 chicken frames while supplies last. Scrub – Rinse – Squeal! It’s sudsy, creamy, lightly scented and made from our pasture raised lard.

Confectious Creations is will be at the market with delicious gourmet cookies, delectable mini-cakes, and assorted other yummy treats!

The Yeast Roll Company will be at market with plenty of delicious fresh-baked plain, cinnamon, and garlic-herb yeast rolls.

Toad Hollow Soapery will be at the market this week with our good-for-you soaps, deodorants, shampoos and body butters, etc.  Come by and pick up your last-minute host/hostess gifts for the holidays!  We will be offering special gift wrap options for our soaps with festive personal hand towels to add a little flare to your gift giving.  Hope to see y’all on Wednesday!

Cumberland Road Woodturning will be there with wooden bowls and other items turned from wood sourced from fallen, diseased, felled-for-safety or other reasons, or invasive trees like Bradford Pear.  All bowls are finished with food-safe walnut oil and beeswax or salad bowl finish.

Embodied Vintage will be visiting the market for the event with hand-sewn aprons.

Fae Design Shop will be at the market for the event with handmade leather goods: journals, wallets, bags, and more. Jewelry using leather, metal, stone, and glass elements. Crochet and knitted goods like scarves and hats for the winter season.

Sand Dollar Soapery will be visiting for the event with handmade natural soaps and personal care products.

Radici Trading Company will be at market for the event with their line of Click It Hot reusable heat packs – an eco-friendly, portable source of soothing hot or cold therapy. They will also be promoting their wellness services: Oberon biofeedback sessions, which use the body’s energetic frequencies to help identify root imbalances and support the journey back to homeostasis.

Roberta Kraitsik will be visiting for the event with hand-knitted items for all ages!
