SPRING PLANT SALE!

It’s time for spring planting! We’ll have lots of healthy starts for your vegetable and herb garden this week and through the month of April. Our vendors are bringing a large variety of plants to help you find what you are looking for. Check out the detailed list of plant varieties you will find on our Spring Plant Sale Vendors Page!


For those doing their regular weekly grocery shopping, this week you will find STRAWBERRIES, ASPARAGUS, SALAD MIX, CARROTS, PARSNIPS, COLLARD GREENS, HEAD LETTUCE, fresh HERBS, and MORE!

There will also be forest-raised PORK, pasture-raised CHICKEN, fresh-baked YEAST ROLLS, herbal TEAS & EXTRACTS, fresh-cut FLOWER BOUQUETS, SOAPS and other BODY PRODUCTS, and live HERB and GARDEN TRANSPLANTS!

Discover CATHIS Farm’s Bounty at Chatham Mills Farmers Market! Get ready for a feast of flavors this week! CATHIS Farm is back, bringing you the best of the pasture and forest. Their pasture-raised chicken is tender, juicy, and ethically raised—perfect for your next family meal. Dive into the rich, earthy flavors of forest-raised pork, which roamed freely among the trees. And don’t miss out on their handcrafted lard soap, a little luxury for your skin. Plus, spoil your furry friends with wholesome treats like dehydrated pet chews and eggs. It’s all waiting for you at the market!

Chatham Oaks Farm will be at market with plenty of local Chatham County strawberries! To reserve a gallon or quart ahead of time, please email: chathamoaksfarm@gmail.com.

Deerhoof Gardens will be at market with with nutritious SOIL SPROUTS grown from broccoli, radish, mung bean and other organic seeds.  Pepper, eggplant, tomato and other VEGETABLE STARTS are available in 4-packs or single 4″ pots.  A wide selection of CULINARY, MEDICINAL and NATIVE HERBS and including thyme, lavender, bronze fennel, bee balm and several varieties of BASIL are ready for your spring garden!

Edge of the World Farm will be there with herbal liquid extracts, elixirs, creams, salves, fresh and dried herbs and herbal tea blends. We will also have Purple Passion Asparagus and a variety of perennial herb plants including Yarrow, Shiso (self-seeding annual, purple Perilla frutescens), Spearmint, Chocolate Mint, and a few others.

Four Dog Farm will have asparagus, salad mix, carrots, parsnips, green onions, Swiss chard, head lettuces, possibly baby spinach, and veggie starts for the Plant Sale, including tomatoes, basil, marigold, parsley, cucumbers, yellow squash, dark green zucchini, and possibly several varieties of peppers!

Thistle Draw Farm will have Succulent Pastured Pork: 11 varieties of pork sausage – Smoked Andouille, Kielbasa, Chorizo, Cajun, Maple and Brown Sugar, Italian, and many more! Hickory Smoked Bacon: Belly Bacon, Jowl Bacon, Belly Bacon end cuts, and Ham Steaks. Favorite Cuts: Boston Butt Roasts, Porterhouse Chops, Loin Chops, Spare Ribs, Petite Tenderloin, Ground, and more! Air-Chilled Pasture-Raised Chicken: Whole Chicken, Boneless Skinless Breasts, Leg Quarters, Tenders, Wings, Backs, and more, along with Colorful Farm Fresh Eggs!

The Yeast Roll Company will be at market with plenty of delicious fresh-baked yeast rolls (plain, cinnamon, and, garlic herb), and samples of a new product (cheese garlic herb). Currently in development: gluten-free yeast rolls!

Bumblebee Meadows will be at the market this week with fresh-cut flower bouquets. April brings lots of chores and planting of warm season annuals in the garden. We are thankful the cooler temperatures we had this week spared us any setbacks! The fields are green with our fall and early spring planting: we are patiently waiting for the color to arrive. We will be at the market this week with a few bouquets of perennial phlox, Iris, Saponaria, and Agrostemma. There might even be a peony or two thrown in if Mother Nature allows! 

Lionhearts Homestead will be at the market with their handcrafted body products (body butter, body scrub, healing salve, lip balm) and room sprays. Fresh herbs and veggies: lettuce, collards, parsley, dill, oregano, thyme, garlic chives, and mint. We will also bring plant starts: tomatoes (Black Cherry, Purple Cherokee), eggplant (Black Beauty, Rosa Bianca), Peppers (Jalapeno, Golden Bell, Mega Marconi), Yellow Crookneck Squash, Spacemaster Cucumbers, Herbs (Dill, Fennel, Chamomile, Thyme, Savory, Marjoram), Flowers (Calendula, Delphinium, Zinnia, Stock, Borage, Yellow Mums, Dianthus).

Sand Dollar Soapery will be at the market with an assortment of their handmade, small batch, chemical and preservative free soaps and scrubs.
