Enjoy shopping for local products and handmade craft during the beautiful month of May! The market will be hosting local visiting artists and craftpeople, along with our own amazing craft vendors!
VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:
Carolina Grass-Fed Meats will be at market with grass-fed beef and timber/pasture-raised pork.
CATHIS Farm will have grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork, chicken, and eggs. Beef cuts include ribeye, NY strip, sirloin steaks, ground beef in bulk and patties, and ground chuck. Pork cuts include bacon, pork chops, spare ribs, Boston butt, and a variety of sausages. Chicken cuts include thighs, jalapeno & cheese chicken sausage, and spinach & garlic sausage. Chicken pet chews are also in stock for your 4 legged friends!
Chatham Oaks Farm will be at market with their first strawberries! (supply limited)
Cool Springs Farm will be there (weather permitting) with green beans, sugar snap peas, broccoli, cabbage, beets, radishes, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, bok choi, pecans, sweet potatoes, and some starter plants for your home garden.
Deerhoof Gardens will be at market fresh oyster mushrooms (blue, golden, aspen and other varieties) and live herb plants including dill, oregano, thyme, mint, bee balm and snapdragon.
Edge of the World Farm will be there (weather permitting) with herbal extracts, elixirs, creams and salves, dried herbs and herbal tea blends, and perennial herb plants including comfrey, motherwort, and chocolate mint. Comfrey (Symphytum offinale) is a great companion plant in orchards. The roots go very deep and bring nutrients up to the tree roots. The leaves help enrich compost and make a great tea for fertilizing other plants as they contain nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
Four Dog Farm will have salad mix, kale, carrots, head lettuce, salad turnips, and a few green onion bunches. We will also have basil plants (Rutgers Obsession DMR) and tomato transplants: Cherokee Purple, Celebrity, Sun Gold cherry, and a few other heirloom and hybrid varieties.
Grand Hope Farm will be at market with head lettuce, Swiss chard, broccoli, and kale!
Thistle Draw Farm will be there (weather permitting) with pastured pork and “free-to-leave” eggs. Pork cuts include porterhouse chops, loin chops, ground pork, Boston butt roasts, picnic (shoulder) roasts, spare ribs, sweet Italian sausage, spicy pork sausage, breakfast link sausage, maple breakfast link sausage, smoked, uncured bacon, organ meats, and leaf & back fats.
Twelve Oaks Farm will have salsa, pickles, eggs, and more!
The Yeast Roll Company will be at market with fresh-baked yeast rolls. They will have plain and cinnamon flavors.
