It is time for Spring planting!

Come out and find locally-grown garden transplants for spring and summer, native perennials and flowering plants, pollinator attractors, and more!


For those doing their regular weekly shopping, this week you will find HEAD LETTUCE, SWEET POTATOES, GREEN GARLIC, ASPARAGUS, SUGAR SNAP PEAS, grass-fed BEEF & LAMB and pasture-raised & organic-fed PORK, CHICKEN, TURKEY, & EGGS!

We will also have fresh BAKED GOODS, CBD products, CANNED GOODS, CUT FLOWERS, herbal TEAS & TINCTURES, BATH & BODY products, NATIVE PLANTS, garden TRANSPLANTS, and MORE!

VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Baked By D will be at market with GF carrot cake, boxes of GF muffins (sweetened with date sugar), whoopie pies (there will be a GF option), GF brownies, cheese cake, coffee cake, and vegan chocolate chip cookies. On March 16th we will have Italian ricotta pies available for Easter! Customers ordering a pie will receive $2 off the price if they bring their own dish this week for us to use to bake their pie. Help reduce waste AND get a discount on your Easter pie!

CATHIS Farm will be there with grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pasture-raised pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs that are supplemented with locally grown and milled organic and non-gmo feed. Beef cuts include ground beef, stew beef and bones. Pork cuts in stock are chops, maple links, apple cinnamon sausage, chorizo, mild country with extra sage patties, bratwurst, smoked kielbasa, smoked chorizo, and smoked garlic bratwurst plus many more. Whole chickens raised on pasture and moved daily. Ground turkey and turkey wings and new dehydrated turkey pet chews. Grass-fed lamb includes chops, ground, shanks and many more cuts. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year at the market!

Cool Springs Farm will be at the market with lettuce, spring onions, green garlic, small sweet potatoes, and a small amount of asparagus and sugar pod peas. This week’s spring plants are, assortment of tomatoes, basil, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, and more.

Edge of the World Farm will be at market with herbal tinctures, elixirs, creams, salves, and dried herbs. This week’s dried herbs and herbal tea blends are Hibiscus Punch, Anti-Viral, Chrysanthemum, and Tulsi (a.k.a. Holy Basil).

Green Heal Farm will be there with red spinach bunches, salad mix, radishes, Swiss chard, red butter head lettuce, and handmade wooden cutting boards.

Lionhearts Homestead will be at market with herbs, plant starts, body butter, scrubs, and some spinach.

Twelve Oaks Farm will be there with eggs, mild salsa, pickled beets, hot sauce, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, and strawberry jam. You can pre-order for convenient pick-up at the market at https://www.twelveoaksmarketplace.com/

Rocky River Hemp NC will be at market with CBD products, including 1200 mg CBD oil, high strength CBD salve, bath bombs, and dog treats. Customers will get a free Rocky River Hemp T-shirt with purchase of two bottles of 1200 mg CBD Oil or two jars of High Strength Salve.

Cure Nursery will be at market with a lovely selection of native plants. They will have Podophyllum pelatum (Mayapple), Heuchera americana (Alumroot), Maianthemum racemosum (Solomon’s Plume), Coreopsis auriculata ‘Nana’ (Mouse-eared Tickseed), Baptisa australis (Blue Wild Indigo), and Hesperaloe parviflora (Hummingbird Yucca).

Deep River Flower Farm (formerly Turtle Rock Gardens)  will be there with mini bouquets featuring ranunculus and anemone.  It’s the last week for tulips and we might also have some large bouquets depending on how many tulips we can harvest.  We’ll also have plants for your garden – yarrow, bee balm, cardoon (all perennials), and possibly strawflowers.

Symphl Creations will be there with handmade soaps, bath bombs, skin balms, and other body products. They will also have home-sewn fabric bags, face masks, and other fabric crafts.
