For those doing their regular weekly shopping, this week you will find STRAWBERRIES, SNOW and SUGAR SNAP PEAS, fresh HERBS, BROCCOLI, CARROTS, PARSNIPS, SPINACH, HEAD LETTUCE, SALAD MIX, ONIONS, KALE, SWISS CHARD, CELTUCE, and MORE!

We will also have fresh CUT FLOWER BOUQUETS for Mother’s Day!

You will also find pastured PORK & EGGS (chicken, duck, and quail!), herbal TEAS & EXTRACTS, SOAPS and PERSONAL CARE products, GARDEN TRANSPLANTS, and a huge variety of HANDMADE local CRAFTS!

Customer Appreciation Day: June 14th – We want to celebrate our customers! Look for special items at each vendor booth to show how much we appreciate you!


VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Bumblebee Meadows will be at market with cut flower bouquets! It’s Mother’s Day weekend and we will be at the market with beautiful bouquets for you to give to your loved ones. They will be filled with snapdragons, phlox, stock, veronica, geum, sunflowers…and more. The garden is exploding with color. Bring a smile to mom’s face with a gorgeous, long lasting flower arrangement. Stop by early to snag your bouquet!

Edge of the World Farm will be there with herbal extracts, elixirs, creams, salves, dried herbs, herbal tea blends, room fresheners, bug and body sprays, and Purple Passion asparagus.

Four Dog Farm will have carrots, parsnips, head lettuce, green onions, cilantro, salad turnips, spinach, salad mix, sugar snap peas, snow peas, kale, Swiss chard, radishes, and celtuce (Chinese stem lettuce). We will also have transplants for your spring garden (likely the final week): zucchini, yellow squash, pickling cucumber, slicing cucumber, cantaloupe, dwarf sunflowers, PEPPERS: orange snack, poblano, jalapeno, habanero, & serrano, and TOMATOES: Big Beef & other hybrid slicers, German Johnson, Cherokee Purple, & other heirloom slicers, Sungold cherry & Black cherry, and plum tomatoes for sauce and canning.

Grand Hope Farm will be there with several types of head lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, kale, onions, broccoli and strawberries!

THISTLE DRAW FARM will have Colorful Free-to-Leave Farm-Fresh Eggs, Pastured Pork and Sausage: Boston butts, chops, spare ribs, Chorizo, andouille, sweet mild Italian, bulk mild and hot breakfast sausage, mild breakfast patties, organ meats, neck bones, salted fatback, lard, and leaf fat, Pasture raised, air chilled chicken is on the way!  We anticipate our first harvest to be in the second half of June.
Scrub – Rinse – Squeal! It’s sudsy, creamy, lightly scented and made from our pasture raised lard. It’s Hog Wash soap, a hand crafted local collaboration of Thistle Draw Farm and Toad Hollow Farm made in small batches in Pittsboro, NC

34 Designs will be visiting for the event with clay and beaded jewelry.

Cherie Westmoreland will be visiting the market for the event with hand-built stoneware and porcelain: pinch pots, vases, mugs, bowls, luminaries, garden face pots, wall art, and sculptural pieces

Cumberland Road Woodturning will be there with wooden bowls and other items turned from wood sourced from fallen, diseased, felled-for-safety or other reasons, or invasive trees like Bradford Pear.  All bowls are finished with food-safe walnut oil and beeswax or salad bowl finish.

Custom Wood Design will be visiting for the event with custom woodwork, including outdoor furniture and handmade birdhouses.

Embodied Vintage will be visiting the market for the event with hand-sewn aprons, beaded magnets, and toys.

Lionhearts Homestead will be at market with our handcrafted body butters, lips balms, healing salves, body scrubs, and room sprays. We will also bring fresh herb bundles (mint, cilantro, parsley, Italian herbs) and transplants for your gardens (tomatoes, eggplant, squash, basil, borage, and  dahlias). We’re looking forward to connecting with the community!

Pretty Things will be visiting the market for the event with resin trays, coasters, soap dishes, jars, boxes, candle holders, keychains, statues, vintage pocket knives and kitchen knives, suncatchers, and sterling silver earrings.

Sand Dollar Soapery will be visiting for the event with handmade natural soaps and personal care products.

Toad Hollow Soapery will be at the market with our small batch goat’s milk soaps, shampoo and conditioner bars, natural deodorants, laundry detergent, facial masks, men’s shave bars and more. Toad Hollow is located right here in Pittsboro and sources its own goat’s milk which is vitamin rich to help support healthy skin.
