Spring Vendorpalooza!

The market will be hosting visiting local farms, artists, and craftspeople, along with our own amazing farms and craft vendors!

For those doing their regular produce shopping, this week you will find STRAWBERRIES, ASPARAGUS, OYSTER MUSHROOMS, PECANS, GREEN BEANS, SNOW PEAS, BROCCOLI, HEAD LETTUCE, POTATOES, BEETS, KOHLRABI, SWISS CHARD, SALAD MIX, CARROTS, SALAD TURNIPS, and MORE!

We will also have pasture-raised & organic-fed PORK, CHICKEN, & EGGS, and grass-fed BEEF, along with local HONEY, fresh CUT FLOWER BOUQUETS, herbal SALVES & TEAS, HERB TRANSPLANTS, BATH & BODY products, HOUSEPLANTS, lots of unique handmade CRAFTS, and MORE!

Spring Vendorpalooza – May 20th

Enjoy shopping for local products and handmade craft during the beautiful month of May! The market will be hosting local visiting artists and craftspeople, along with our own amazing craft vendors! VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:

Carolina Grass-Fed Meats will be at market with grass-fed beef and timber/pasture-raised pork.

CATHIS Farm will have grass-fed beef and forest-raised pork, pastured chicken, and eggs. Beef cuts are limited but include NY strip, ground beef in bulk, and pre-made hamburger patties. Pork cuts include bacon, spare ribs, Boston butt, maple links, mild country, and extra sage patties. For chicken cuts, we have boneless skinless breasts, whole chickens, drumsticks, and wings. Chicken pet chews are also in stock for your 4 legged friends!

Chatham Oaks Farm will be at market with strawberries.

Cool Springs Farm   will be there with green beans, sugar pod peas, new potatoes, kale, Swiss chard, bok choi, carrots, beets, onions, kohlrabi, sweet potatoes, and pecans.

Deerhoof Gardens will be at market with fresh oyster mushrooms (brown, blue, golden and other varieties) and live herb plants including basil, bee balm, mint, oregano and parsley.

Edge of the World Farm will be there herbal extracts, elixirs, creams and salves, dried herbs and herbal tea blends, and purple passion asparagus.

Four Dog Farm will have asparagus, salad mix, arugula, head lettuce, salad turnips, kohlrabi, cilantro, spring onions, bulb fennel, and basil plants.

Grand Hope Farm will be at market with 6 types of head lettuce, Swiss chard, spinach, spring onions, and broccoli!

Sacred Ground will be visiting the market for the event with local honey and wild-harvested mushrooms, when available. They will also have information about the Chatham Beekeepers Association.

Thistle Draw Farm will be there with succulent grass pastured pork roasts, chops, ribs, smoked ham, smoked bacon, Italian sausage, hot sausage, versatile lean ground pork, and July pastured chicken shares.

Ancientish will be visiting the market for the event with megalodon teeth jewelry made from teeth from NC waters. Pendants and other small wire wrapped pieces.

Cherie Westmoreland will be visiting the market for the event with hand-built stoneware and porcelain: pinch pots, vases, mugs, bowls, luminaries, sculptural pieces. Fabric designs (hand drawn with Prismacolor pencils and markers), printed locally by Spoonflower in Durham, handmade into sachets, scarves, and dish towels.

Crystal Glen Alpacas will be at market with hand-crafted alpaca and wooden items. It is the perfect place to find unique 100% handspun alpaca yarn and many other items, including yarn bowls made from our farm grown cedar trees. Felted inserts, hand knit pouches and bandanas are also on hand. See you on Saturday!

Jump the Moon will be visiting the market for the event with their children’s book: This heartwarming true story about the bond between a girl and her pony will teach readers, young and old, the importance of trusting your heart, following your dreams, and never putting limits on what is possible.

Lionhearts Homestead will be at market with flower bouquets and arrangements, flower starts, body butters, whipped lotions, body scrubs, lip balms, room fresheners, and bug spray.

Metalsome will be visiting the market for the event with original handmade metal sculpture and yard art using scrap metal and other steel objects.

Surcee Farm will be visiting the market for the event with houseplants and botanical bath products: bath salts, foot soaks, tub teas, & sugar scrubs.
