Pre-Thanksgiving Market – Wednesday, Nov 26th, from 12pm to 3pm:
- Shop for fresh, local produce the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving!
- Pick up your fresh turkey from Thistle Draw Farm!
- Take home a holiday pie baked fresh by our vendors! Pecan pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and more!
- The pie sale is a fundraiser for the market and all proceeds go towards supporting the market and our amazing farmers and craftspeople!
VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:
Bumblebee Meadows will be at the market with our signature cottage style fresh flower bouquets, dried wreaths and Christmas creations made from flowers grown right here on the farm! This may possibly be the last week for fresh flowers- we might squeeze out one more- but Mother Nature has winter on her mind! We will be offering our giant amaryllis bulbs, potted up and ready to go into your homes and bloom for the holidays starting next week. If you would like a live, evergreen wreath please stop by the booth to order one. We will be creating dried wreaths with a nod to winter and Christmas which can last several seasons. Our farm appreciates your support!
Edge of the World Farm will be there with our herbal products including liquid herbal extracts, elixirs, face and body creams, skin creams and salves, dried herbs, herbal tea blends, including Hibiscus Punch tea blend, and herbal room fresheners and body sprays including Sweet Dreams, Bug Spray, and others.
Four Dog Farm will have several varieties of red & green head lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, salad turnips, beets, hot peppers, sweet green bell, red Italian, & pimento peppers, garlic, Shishito peppers, snack peppers, spinach, salad mix, arugula, baby kale, baby Swiss chard, kohlrabi, radishes, kale bunches, collard greens, and celtuce (Chinese stem lettuce).
Grand Hope Farm will be there with spinach, kale, tomatoes, squash, peppers, potatoes, daikon radishes, eggplant and okra.
Mary Mel Family Farm will be at market with pasture-raised ground beef, sausage, smoked jowls, and bratwurst. .
Thistle Draw Farm will have Colorful Free-to-Leave Farm Fresh Eggs. Pastured Pork. Deer Sausage fat. Heritage pork cuts will be available next week with new sausage flavors! Your favorite sausages and savory American Guinea Hog cuts are on the near horizon. Air-Chilled, Pasture Raised Chicken! All your favorites: Boneless skinless breasts, tenders, drumsticks, thighs, leg quarters, wings, and whole chickens. Reserve your fresh, never frozen, chicken NOW from our harvest next week. Free-To-Leave Pastured Turkey. Watch this space for November availability. Scrub – Rinse – Squeal! It’s sudsy, creamy, lightly scented and made from our pasture raised lard.
Toad Hollow Soapery will be at the market this week with our good for you small batch goat’s milk soaps, shampoo and conditioner bars, natural deodorants, laundry detergent, facial masks, and men’s shave bars. With the cold weather upon us, dry skin can begin to creep in. Come by the booth and get some relief by trying a sample of our new luxurious body butter!
