Bumblebee Meadows will be at the market with fresh flower bouquets, eggs, and our everlasting wreaths and arrangements. Dahlia season is winding down and heirloom mum season is getting started! Mums are known to last one to two weeks in a vase! A wreath makes a great gift for a loved one for Christmas, stop by, support your local farmers and see what we offer. You can even place an order of a specific color and we will be happy to create a custom one for you. We truly appreciate the support of our farm!
Deerhoof Gardens will be at the market with fresh oyster mushrooms, and culinary, medicinal and ornamental herbs and native plants ready to go in the garden, including chamomile, cilantro, parsley, kale, bee balm, skullcap, yarrow, lemon balm, and valerian
Edge of the World Farm will be there with our herbal products including liquid herbal extracts, elixirs, face and body creams, skin creams and salves, dried herbs, herbal tea blends, including Hibiscus Punch tea blend, and herbal room fresheners and body sprays including Sweet Dreams, Bug Spray, and others.
Four Dog Farm will have plenty of green beans, several varieties of head lettuce, carrots, salad turnips, beets, eggplant, hot & sweet peppers, green bell peppers, garlic, jalapeno peppers, poblanos, Shishito peppers, snack peppers, salad mix, arugula, baby kale, baby Swiss chard, kohlrabi, a few kale and collard green bunches, and possibly some cauliflower.
Grand Hope Farm will be there with sweet peppers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, summer squash, kale, spinach, cucumbers, broccoli, radishes, turnips, and eggplant.
Mary Mel Family Farm will be at market with pasture-raised sausage, bacon, ground beef, and beef cuts.
Thistle Draw Farm will have Colorful Free-to-Leave Farm Fresh Eggs. Pastured Pork. Deer Sausage fat. Heritage pork cuts will be available next week with new sausage flavors! Your favorite sausages and savory American Guinea Hog cuts are on the near horizon. Air-Chilled, Pasture Raised Chicken! All your favorites: Boneless skinless breasts, tenders, drumsticks, thighs, leg quarters, wings, and whole chickens. Reserve your fresh, never frozen, chicken NOW from our harvest next week. Free-To-Leave Pastured Turkey. Watch this space for November availability. Scrub – Rinse – Squeal! It’s sudsy, creamy, lightly scented and made from our pasture raised lard.
Cumberland Road Woodturning will be there with wooden bowls and other items turned from wood sourced from fallen, diseased, felled-for-safety or other reasons, or invasive trees like Bradford Pear. All bowls are finished with food-safe walnut oil and beeswax or salad bowl finish.
