A must-have for the holiday season! These sausage balls are made from scratch – with flour instead of store-bought biscuit mix, making it easier to adapt to your own flour preferences. You will find pasture-raised and organic-fed mild country sausage from CATHIS Farm at the market this week!
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage, at room temperature
- 2 (8 ounce) packages shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese, at room temperature
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine sausage, cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder, seasoned salt, and dry mustard in a large bowl.
