NEW VENDOR SPOTLIGHT!
Everyone with the market would like to welcome Deerhoof Gardens as a new vendor for 2022! Rich and Erica Joiner grow a variety of mushrooms and potted herbs using only organic methods at their farm just outside of Pittsboro. Stop by and help us welcome them when you are at market this Saturday!
VENDOR PRODUCE LIST:
Aiken Farm will be at market with fresh, seasonal produce.
Baked By D will be there with chocolate chip, carrot, and blueberry muffins (all gluten and dairy free), vegan cookies, GF blueberry crumble bars, cheesecake, and focaccia.
CATHIS Farm will have grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pasture-raised pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs that are supplemented with locally grown and milled organic and non-gmo feed. A variety of beef cuts are available, including ground beef, stew beef and bones. Pork cuts in stock are chops, maple links, apple cinnamon sausage, chorizo, mild country with extra sage patties, bratwurst, smoked kielbasa, smoked chorizo, and smoked garlic bratwurst plus many more. Whole chickens raised on pasture and moved daily. Ground turkey and turkey wings and new dehydrated turkey pet chews. Grass-fed lamb includes chops, ground, shanks and many more cuts.
Chatham Oaks Farm will be at market with a limited amount of strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and kale.
Cool Springs Farm will have green beans, cherry and slicing tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beets, broccoli, purple/red/yellow Irish potatoes, cabbage, white onions, and green garlic.
Deerhoof Gardens will be at market for the first time with fresh oyster mushrooms (blue, pink, pearl, and other varieties) and live herb plants including thyme, sage, lemon balm, marjoram, epazote, feverfew, chives, and several varieties of basil!
Four Dog Farm will be at market with snow peas, sugar snap peas, carrots, a few beet bunches, and possibly some summer squash, cucumbers, and a few quarts of strawberries.
Green Heal Farm will have a variety of fresh vegetables, flower bouquets, and handmade cutting boards!
Grand Hope Farm will be there with several types of lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, kale, spring onions, kohlrabi, carrots, daikon radishes, and broccoli.
Rocky River Hemp NC will be there with CBD products, including 1200 mg CBD oil, high strength CBD salve, bath bombs, and dog treats. Customers will get a free Rocky River Hemp T-shirt with purchase of two bottles of 1200 mg CBD Oil or two jars of High Strength Salve.
Twelve Oaks Farm will have pickles, salsa, pickled jalapeños, and pickled radishes. You can pre-order for convenient pick-up at the market at https://www.twelveoaksmarketplace.com/
Cure Nursery will be there with a lovely selection of native plants. This week we will have Penstemon digitalis (White Penstemon), Mitchella repens (Partridgeberry), Carex appalachica (Appalachian Sedge), Aesculus parviflora (Bottlebrush Buckeye), Diervilla rivularis ‘Troja Black’ (Bush Honeysuckle), Chrysogonum virginianum (Green-and-Gold), and a few more.
